Refund policy

We have a customer friendly 2 days return & 7 days exchange policy

Cancellation Policy:

  1. If unfortunately, you have to cancel an order, kindly do so before your order is shipped. Please log into your account and click on the "cancel order" option against the order number that you want to cancel.
  2. If you cancel your order before it is shipped, we will refund you the entire amount.

⚠️ Important:

For Made-to-Order Products, production begins after 24 hours of placing the order. Once the order moves into the “Working” stage (i.e., after the initial 24-hour period), cancellation is no longer possible.

Custom-size kurtas (3XL–10XL) are made-to-order and therefore not eligible for return or exchange.

If you wish to cancel a Made-to-Order Products, you must do so within 24 hours of placing the order. After this period, cancellation requests will not be accepted, as the saree moves into active processing and customization.

Return Policy:

  1. If you have received the product in a bad condition or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged before delivery, please refuse to accept the package and return the package to the delivery person. Also, please email us at support@houseofvardha.in mentioning your Order ID.
  2. We will personally ensure that a brand-new replacement is issued to you with no additional cost. 
  3. If you do not like the product, you will have to raise a return request by sending WhatsApp message on 8866015444 or emailing us at support@houseofvardha.in
  4. In case due to certain circumstances after raising the return request within 48 hours you are unable to return the shipment within the time frame no refund would be made. Only a credit note would be given.
  5. When you return the product to the courier guy, it is mandatory to take a receipt (physical or through message). In case of lost shipment, we will need proof of return by you.
  6. A nominal fee of Rs 280 will be deducted from your refund.
  7. In rare cases our courier partner are unable to pick up from your location, the Customer will be responsible for delivering the product to our warehouse.

➡️ Important: All returns must be sent back in the same condition as delivered unused, with all original tags and labels attached, and the branded packaging (both White Box and Black Box, wherever provided). Returns without the original box packaging will not be accepted.

⚠️ Note: Some products are eligible for exchange only and are not covered under return or refund. Such conditions will be clearly mentioned in the respective product details.

Apart from condition reserved herein above, the following products

shall not be eligible for return or replacement, viz:

  1. Any product that exhibits physical damage to the product
  2. If the saree has been ordered with fall and edging & Custom Stitched Blouse.
  3. If the product is customized for you.
  4. Custom-size kurtas (3XL–10XL) are made-to-order and therefore not eligible for return.
  5. If the Return or Exchange is requested after 48 hours of receiving the shipment. 
  6. If the product is made to order
  7. Orders placed with buy x get y offers.

Refund Policy:

  1.  Successfully returned orders are eligible for full refund.
  2. Refunds would be processed within 1-2 days after the product is received back to our warehouse.
  3. Prepaid orders refunds are issued back to the original mode of payment.
  4. A nominal fee of Rs 280 will be deducted from your refund.
  5. For COD orders, the refunds will be made via bank transfer.

Note: Refunds will only be processed if the returned product is unused, with all original tags and labels attached, and the branded packaging boxes (White and Black, wherever applicable).
⚠️ Certain products are non-refundable and only eligible for exchange, as specified in the product details.

Exchange Policy:

  1. You have to raise an exchange request within 7 days of receiving the product. You can log in to your account if you already have one or create a new one using the same email id which is used while placing the order. There is an exchange option available, and we will arrange for the pick-up from your doorstep.
  2. Once we have it with us, we will ship the replacement product to you within 5-7 working days. Please note House of Vardha will arrange for the pick-up from your doorstep
  3. Exchange is not possible if the saree has fall and edging done to it
  4. Exchange would not be accepted if the product was customized
    for you.
  5. Custom-size kurtas (3XL–10XL) are made-to-order and therefore not eligible for exchange.
  6. If you want to exchange the product you ordered for with another
    product of higher amount, we would give you a coupon code for the amount of the product you returned. You can use this code while placing an order and pay the balance amount on your next purchase.
  7. For Orders with value below Rs 2000, Customer will have to ship the product to our warehouse for exchange.
  8.  If you want to exchange your product with another product of
    lower amount, we would ship the product as soon as we receive it and the balance will be refunded to the original payment method within 1-2 Business Days.
  9. Return or exchange of the exchanged product is not possible.
  10. No discount will be given on exchange orders.
  11. Some products are exchange-only and not eligible for return or refund. This will be mentioned on the respective product page.
  12. Important: Products with Fall & Edging, Pre-Drape Service, Ready-to-Wear conversion, or Custom Stitched Blouse are considered customized products and therefore are not eligible for return or exchange.


    ⚠️Add-On Services Policy (Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable)

    The following services are optional Add-On Services that customers may select while purchasing a product. These services are customized or processing-based services and therefore are strictly non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-cancellable once the order is placed.

    The return, exchange, and refund policy applies only to the main product and does not apply to any add-on services or made to orders products selected during purchase.

    Add-On Services include:

    • Ready to Wear / Pre-Drape Service
    • Custom Stitched Blouse
    • Fall and Edging
    • Gift Packaging
    • Pyjama Add-On
    • Any other optional customization or accessory selected during purchase

    Once these services are selected and processed, they cannot be cancelled, refunded, exchanged, or reversed under any circumstances, as they involve customization or additional processing of the product.
